This catalyst can be introduced into any polyurethane system, whether it be flexible, self-supporting or rigid, and can permanently reduce the bacterial count by 95%.
It has been extensively tested at the University of Padua through a specific bacteriological analysis for the two most common families of bacteria: Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli. Results certify that with only a 2% mix of Benact within the polyurethane system, you get the desired reduction of bacterial loads.
